Bottom Angling Test

Over the long weekend, I finally got around to trying out my bottom fishing kit. Well, the same feeders as bottom feeders (360 and 390 in length), but already with a pop-up boilie system, a stand and alarms. It was hot over the long weekend, so without bothering myself too much, I decided to put on my bottoms and hang out with my family while they are sweltering there.

With deeper I searched the terrain, I found a nice place at a depth of 5m. The distance was about 45 meters. I used the bait #deepex carp + universal yellow and additionally added pickled corn. I cast 10 larger feeders to the point. I put tigernuts 10mm boilie on 360 and caramel-vanilla 12mm on 390. I threw it in the dot and happily went off to cook dinner, with a calm heart thinking that it would be quiet for at least a few hours.

The fun begins

Barely half an hour after bottom fishing, I hear the alarm and quickly start galloping towards the rods. Baiting on 360 with tigernuts boilie. I shake it and there's something quite scurrying. When you get closer, a beautiful roach appears. And not just beautiful. I only caught them in the spring, but certainly not in the middle of summer when it's 28 degrees outside. I unhook, drop it into the sieve and throw the rod back. I'm heading back towards cooking dinner. After 15 minutes I hear the buzzer again. This time the baiting is already on a 390 rod with a 12mm boilie. There is another roach just as beautiful and big. Before I could cast back, the bait on the 360 rod and another roach... At this rate of fishing, the family will be left without dinner... I decide to leave the rods on the shore for now and return when everyone is full and happy.

After a good hour and a half I came back and the baits were nowhere to be found. Cockroach baiting every 15-20 minutes. And it lasted until sunset. Then the baiting became very rare to 30-45 minutes of waiting. And when the sun went down, the mosquitoes attacked and I decided that enough was enough and I would go back to the morning fishing. Morning fishing was no worse. The same roaches were biting. And apart from the fact that my morning fishing started at 7 o'clock in the morning. I really wanted to take a longer nap.
I would also like to mention that the day before I went fishing with a feeder. Fishing turned out to be interesting and you can find a productive fishing video - here.
