Competition date: 07/07/2024 24 hours.
Location: Kalvelei, Vilnius district. weekly Aquilegia Recreational Fishing Pond.
We invite Carpininka and Method feeder fishermen. Up to 18 teams will be registered.
COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS:
All adults or minors (from 16 years of age accompanied by a parent or guardian) can participate in the competition if they have registered in advance and paid the entry fee of 60 euros.
Registration for the competition is in advance. There will be no registration on the day of the competition.

July 6 (Saturday):
09:00 - 09:30 - registration of participants

11:30 - Start of the competition:
End of the day, weighing the catch as needed 2-3 times a day and after catching the grass carp as soon as possible.
July 7 (Sunday):
11:30 - End of competition, weighing of catches
13:30 Calculation and announcement of competition results,

Aquilegia - PROS Cup 2024 INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
Competitions are conducted in team competition
The duration of the competition is 24 hours
During the competition, 1-2 participants catch only within the limits of their designated sector up to a distance of 90m, no outside help is allowed. At the same time, in a team of 2 participants, only one fishing rod per angler is caught or , one participating angler can catch with 2 fishing rods….
using only one hook without a hook, with a hair hook system or a method system. The number of spare rods is unlimited. Baits and lures must be of natural origin.
The use of bait is prohibited:
Baits of animal origin, artificial baits (made of metal, rubber, paralon, etc.) imitating mosquito bites, fly larvae, worms, dead fish, artificial flies, etc.
It is forbidden to use echo sounders, deeper sonars, etc. during preparation. during the competition, feeders, sponges, cables, cobras, etc. are allowed until 20:00. during all competitions.
Athletes are prohibited from using feeding boats, echo sounders, deeper sonars and the like during competitions.
During the competition, fish are kept in a strainer at least 4 meters long. Carry at least 3 fish storage bags for a catch of 5 kg or more, and "unhooking mat" pillows for the fish.
All fish caught are counted. One strainer can hold up to 20 kg of fish. The number of sieves is unlimited. If there is more than 20 kg in the strainer, we will not count the remaining weight. After catching a carp, immediately inform the judges and submit the catch for weighing. After catching a sturgeon, inform, show the caught fish to the neighbors and the judges, then release. The weight of one sturgeon, 1 kg, will be counted. Weight is added to the overall score.
After weighing, all fish are released back into the water body.
If the participants violate the elementary rules, a yellow card is issued, i.e. a penalty is imposed, it is mandatory to retrieve the thrown fishing rods at 4 o'clock. and only after the specified time has passed can the competition be extended. In case of repeated violations, the participant is removed from the competition without refund of the entry fee.
The winner of the competition is determined by the weight of the fish caught.
Awards await the winners and prize-winners of the competition, "Big
fish” award will be given for the biggest fish!
3 prize places with two cups each + "BIG FISHAS" 2 cups will be awarded: a total of 8 cups and sponsors' prizes.
Due to bad weather conditions, the organizers reserve the right to cancel, terminate or temporarily suspend the competition.
The participant is responsible for his own safety.
