CONTEST RULES:
1. REGISTRATION AND START FEE

The starting fee is 50 eur
1.1 Competitions are conducted in personal standings
1.2 All persons have the right to participate in the competition.
1.3 Registration for competitions is carried out by public invitation on the Facebook social networking platform. The number of participants is limited to 50.
1.5 Entry fee for the competition – 50 EUR.
1.6 By paying the competition entry fee, the participant at the same time confirms that he agrees with the regulations and rules of the competition and ponds, and also assumes full responsibility for health problems, various injuries or death. Also agrees that the participant's name and surname and visual material taken during the competition may be publicly published on social networks and other mass media.
2. COMPETITION FORMAT
2.1 Competition date and water bodies:
in 2023 June 17 – Kalveliai (Aquilegia pond 13)
2.2 Competition agenda:
June 17:
9.00-9.30 - arrival, drawing of lots, opening of competitions, entrance to sectors;
11.00 - start of the competition.
18:00 - the end of the competition;
19:00 - closing of the competition, announcement of results, announcement of winners, awards.
3. BAITS, CATCHING METHOD
3.1 Before the start and the Aquilegia Cup - Method Feeder During the competition, participants can check and explore the bottom within the boundaries of their sector using a scanning weight or a marker. It is forbidden to scan the bottom with a feeder and/or to comfort before the start of the competition. Throwing sonar is prohibited.
3.2 Baiting begins immediately after the start. Appeasement by hand, appeasement rocket, spomba/appeasement boats is prohibited.
3.3.. Lures and lures - you can lure with all lures (and live ones) and catch only with the hair system - corn, "pellets", "wafters", "boils", etc.) and with lures of artificial (plastic, silicone) origin.
3.4 Fishing is possible only with method feeders. The use of lead in the system instead of the feeder is prohibited. Inline type system only.
3.5 Fishing is allowed at one time - one fishing rod per person. Each rod must have no more than one hook without a clip. Participants can leave the sector during the competition only after removing the fishing rod from the water and informing the nearby competitors or judges about it.
3.6 The fish must be caught within the boundaries of its sector.
3.7 Competitors must have a safe mat (a mattress for laying fish on the ground).
3.8 During fishing, it is allowed to use only monofilament line as the main line.
3.9. Braided line can be used for leads and shock leaders.
4. FISH, FISH KEEPING, WEIGHING
4.1 All fish caught are counted.
4.2 Fish must be kept in nets of at least 3.0 m length or in separate bags for storing fish.
4.3 If the fish was hooked before the end of the competition and the fish was reported to the judges or the athletes catching alongside and the fish was pulled after the end of the competition (after the signal for the end of the competition), the fish is included in the result.
4.4 At the end of the competition, it is allowed to take the fish out of the water only after approaching the judges. The fish taken out of the water must be placed on the "mat". Each participant is responsible for keeping the fish alive and harming them as little as possible.
4.5 It is forbidden to lay fish on the ground during competitions and during training. The fish can only be laid on a special mattress ("mat").
4.6. Carps weighing more than 4 kg must be placed in a special storage bags.
Each participant must have at least one storage bag. (If you don't have it, the organizers can lend it).
5. PENALTIES
5.1 Public consumption of alcohol and display during, before or after the competition is prohibited.
5.2 It is forbidden to make noise or otherwise disturb other participants during the competition.
5.3 For gross violations of the rules, the participant may be removed from the competition by the decision of the judges.
6. PROCEDURE FOR CALCULATING RESULTS AND DETERMINING PLACES
6.1 Participants, depending on the number of fishermen competing in the zones (A or B). The goal of each participant is to catch the maximum weight of fish in their zone. According to the weight of fish caught in each zone, participants receive penalty points.
6.2 The places occupied by the participants are determined by the weight of the fish caught. The participant with the least number of penalty points and the largest weight of fish caught takes first place. According to the number of penalty points and the weight of the fish, places are allocated to other participants.
6.3 Penalty points are awarded in the following way: for the corresponding place in the zone, the corresponding number of penalty points is given (for 1st place - 1 penalty point, for 2nd place - 2 penalty points, etc.).
6.4 When the weight of the fish caught by the participants is the same, the places are added up and divided by the number of participants (for example, two participants share the 5th and 6th places; thus, (5+6):2 = 5.5 points for each participant.
6.5 Participants who did not catch a fish receive a number of points equal to the arithmetic average of the places of participants who did not catch a single fish in the sector: (for example, out of 6 participants, 3 caught fish and 3 did not catch a single fish, 3 participants who did not catch a single fish - receive a (4+ 6):2=5 points.
7. AWARDS
7.1 Participants who take 1-3 places and catch the biggest and smallest fish are awarded cups and sponsors' prizes.
7.2 Depending on the number of participants, excluding judging and cup stakes, the collected monetary fund is divided in half with the pool owners, and the rest:
After winning the prizes, the money fund will be divided in the following proportions:
Ivieta - 40 percent.
2nd place - 30 percent
III place - 15 percent.
The biggest fish -15 percent.
8. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
8.1 The competition organizers reserve the right to resolve disputes and, if necessary, to change the provisions of the competition by mutual agreement.
8.2 Referees have the right to enter the sectors without permission and at any time check the athlete's inventory, used systems and equipment.
