COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS:
All adults over the age of 18 can participate in the competition if they have registered in advance and paid the competition entry fee (€80 per team).
Registration for the competition is in advance. There will be no registration at the venue.
Registration is carried out by transfer to the account of "Žūklės klubas Dainava" SEB bankas LT367044090107988239, in the purpose of the transfer, indicate: Competition entry fee (team name, participants)
Registration starts on 13/06/2024 and ends on 25/07/2024.
AGENDA:
July 27 (Saturday):
17:30 – 19:00 – briefing of the competition participants and drawing of sectors, opening of the competition;
19:30 - 1st signal - entering sectors;
21:00 - signal 2 - start of the competition;
06:55 - signal 3 - 5 minutes left until the end of the competition;
07:00 - 4th signal - end of competition and weighing of catches;
08:30 - calculation and announcement of competition results, awarding of winners.
The competition organizers reserve the right to change the competition agenda by notifying the participants in advance.
COMPETITION RULES:
1) The duration of the competition (excluding preparation) is 10 hours.
2) The competition is a team of two people (the competition will be conducted NOT on the TANDEM principle). Participants will be divided into A (concrete embankment) and B (meadow) zones;
3) The draw will be based on registration. Whoever registers first will be drawn first.
5) The number of participants in the competition is limited. Registration will be stopped when the limit of 30-34 teams is reached.
6) After the briefing and drawing of lots, the athletes move to their sector and can start preparing the equipment immediately.
7) The maximum amount of lures allowed per team member is UNLIMITED.
The amount of bait is UNLIMITED.
9) Baits and lures must be of natural origin. Artificial baits (made of metal, rubber, paralon, etc.) imitating mosquito bites, fly larvae, worms, dead fish, artificial flies, etc. are prohibited.
10) It is allowed to use such a system (In Line) so that the fish can freely escape from the feeder when the line breaks. Do not use any limiters or silicone dampeners on the main line between the feeder and the tip of the rod.
11) Feeding during the competition is allowed only with feeders. Feeder sizes are allowed for feeding and catching: diameter - no more than 5 cm, length - no more than 7 cm.
12) The use of a shock leader is not mandatory in the system assembly. When using a shock-leader, the feeder must easily pass through the shock-leader unit. The minimum distance from the hook to the bottom of the feeder is at least 50 cm. During the inspection, it is forbidden to tighten the system tied on the line.
13) Catching by "method" - prohibited.
14) Catching during the competition with a weight is prohibited.
15) During the competition, the participant catches only within the limits of the sector assigned to him, no outside help is allowed. Only one rod is caught at a time, using only one hook in the system. The number of spare rods is unlimited.
16) The fish is kept in a net of at least 3 meters in length. During the competition, the net must be immersed in the water as much as possible over its length. Other methods of keeping caught fish are prohibited.
17) The competitor must try to ensure that all the fish survive until weighing - release back into the water.
18) When the competitor leaves the sector during the competition, the system (hook, feeder) cannot be in the water.
19) Only team coaches and assistants can enter the sectors of their team members. Only one team representative can be in the team sector at a time: a coach or an assistant coach. Referees have the right to enter each team's sector.
20) Athletes are prohibited from using telephones, headphones, walkie-talkies, echo sounders during competitions.
21) All fish of the size and type determined in accordance with the MŽT (amature fishing rules) are included.
22) Only fish that are taken out of the water before the finish signal are counted.
23) If the team places a fish in the sieve that was still in the water after the finish signal, the largest fish will be released from the sieve before weighing.
24) After weighing, all fish are released back into the water body. The winner of the competition is determined by the weight of the legal size fish caught.
25) By paying the entry fee, participants confirm that they accept responsibility for their own safety, inventory and injuries.
26) The entry fee is non-refundable, but if there is an opportunity to participate, the place can be transferred to other colleagues.
