On July 5th, we invite everyone to the night feeder competition Night Tandem. Which will take place in the city of Birštonas on the Nemunas River.
All adults or minors (from 16 years of age, accompanied by one of their parents or guardians) can participate in the competition, having registered in advance and paid the starting fee of 70€. Registration is confirmed only after receiving the fee. When paying the starting fee, you must enter your name, surname, team name and phone number in the payment purpose.

Night Tandem AGENDA:
July 5 (Saturday):
18:30 – 19:00 – briefing of competition participants and drawing of sector lots, opening of the competition;
19:30 - 1st signal - entering sectors;
21:00 - signal 2 - start of the competition;
06:55 - signal 3 - 5 minutes left until the end of the competition;
07:00 - 4th signal - end of competition and weighing of catches;
08:30 - calculation and announcement of competition results, awarding of winners.
The competition organizers reserve the right to change the competition agenda by notifying the participants in advance.
COMPETITION Night Tandem RULES:

The duration of the competition (excluding preparation) is 10 hours.

The competition is a team competition of two people, the competition will be conducted on the TANDEM principle, the participants will sit next to each other, but the distance between the platforms must not exceed 1.5 m.

The draw will be based on registration. Whoever registers first will be drawn first.

The number of participants in the competition is limited. Registration will be closed once the limit of 40 teams is reached.

After the briefing and drawing of lots, the athletes move to their sector and can start preparing their equipment immediately.

The maximum amount of bait allowed per team member is UNLIMITED.

Baits and lures must be of natural origin. Artificial baits (made of metal, rubber, paralon, etc.) imitating mosquito bites, fly larvae, worms, dead fish, artificial flies, etc. are prohibited.

It is allowed to use such a system (In Line) so that the fish can freely escape from the feeder when the line breaks. Do not use any limiters or silicone dampeners on the main line between the feeder and the tip of the rod.

Feeding during the competition is allowed only with feeders. Feeder sizes allowed for feeding and catching: diameter - no more than 5 cm, length - no more than 7 cm.

The use of a shock leader is not mandatory in the system assembly. When using a shock-leader, the feeder must easily pass through the shock-leader assembly. The minimum distance from the hook to the bottom of the feeder is at least 50 cm. During the inspection, it is forbidden to tighten the system tied on the line.

Catching by "method" method is prohibited.

Catching during the competition with a weight is prohibited.

During the competition, participants fish only within the boundaries of their assigned sector, no outside help is allowed. Only one fishing rod can be used at a time, using only one hook in the system. The number of spare fishing rods is not limited.

The fish is kept in a net of at least 3 meters in length. During the competition, the net must be immersed in the water as much as possible over its length. Other methods of keeping caught fish are prohibited.

Contestants must strive to ensure that all fish survive until weighing and release back into the water.

When the competitor leaves the sector during the competition, the system (hook, feeder) cannot be in the water.

Only team coaches and assistants are allowed to enter their team members' sectors. Only one team representative can be in a team sector at a time: the coach or assistant coach. Referees have the right to enter each team's sector.

Athletes are prohibited from using phones, headphones, walkie-talkies, echo sounders during the competition.

All fish of the size and type determined by the IFA (recreational fishing regulations) are eligible.

Only fish taken out of the water before the finish signal are counted.

If the team places a fish in the net that was still in the water after the finish signal, the largest fish will be released from the net until the weigh-in.

After weighing, all fish are released back into the water body. The winner of the competition is determined by the weight of the legal size fish caught.

By paying the entry fee, participants confirm that they accept responsibility for their own safety, equipment and injuries.

The entry fee is non-refundable, but if there is an opportunity to participate, the place can be transferred to other colleagues.

Teams will be divided into 4-5 zones (depending on the number of teams). Winners of all zones will be awarded prizes.
