The purpose of the competition is to popularize amateur and sport fishing in Lithuania, to promote the creation of fishing club traditions, the search for sport fishing skills and new forms of leisure time, and the growth of fishing culture.

3. Place and time of the competition
3.1 Start and finish Near UAB Triturus Parduotuvės Dubysos st. 25 a
3.2 Fishing location: Lithuanian river stretches
3.3 Competition date: January 11, 2025 (if the rivers are not fishable, we will postpone the competition)
3.4 Duration of the competition: 8 hours (more details in the "Competition Agenda" section)
4. Contestants
4.1 All persons under the age of 16 can participate in the competition only with parental consent.
4.2 A crew consisting of 2 people participates in the competition.
4.3 The number of persons participating in the competition is limited.
4.4 Competition participants are responsible for their own safety during the competition. The participants of the competition are familiarized with the security technical requirements in a signed form during the registration.
5. Registration and entry fee
5.1 Pre-registration of participants begins on 2024.12.10 and ends on 2025.01.10., on-site registration begins at 7:00 and ends at 8:00.
5.2 Crew start fee – EUR 30 pre-registration + EUR 70 on the day of the competition. On the day of the competition, the crew without prior registration is 110 euros.
5.3 When registering, you must provide your name, surname, phone number. number and vehicle registration number.
5.4 Persons who have registered and paid the entry fee in advance have the right of priority. Organizers have the right to suspend registration.
5.5 The reservation fee will be non-refundable if you decide not to participate.
5.6 Registration is possible after paying the registration fee by bank transfer to Audrius Uselis account: LT597300010172767537 to.
6. Release the Salmon – Slag to win the Pontoon21 Cup 2025 Competition rules:
6.1 Fish caught: salmon and pike.
6.2 Only lures of artificial origin may be used.
6.3 Before and during the competition, the referee has the right to check the competitor's belongings (backpacks, fishing boxes, etc.)
6.4 Competition participants shall catch fish in accordance with the procedure established in the Rules of Amateur Fishing.
6.5 The participant of the competition shall arrange for his/her own fishing ticket.
6.6 Participants must comply with the restrictions on the size and type of fish caught, which are specified in the rules of amateur fishing of the Republic of Lithuania (salmon - 65 cm, pike - 65 cm). Caught prohibited fish are released immediately.
6.7 After catching the qualifying fish, the participant must take photos: a) on the competition ruler.
b) That the seen fisherman-fish-participant number.
c) Start-up video with the key word that will be said at the start.
d) After the start, all photos and videos are sent to the judges on the Triturus – Klaipėda Facebook account ( https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063653377813 )
e) Photos and videos are accepted until the end of the competition.
6.13 The end of the competition is at 16:30.
6.14 A competitor is warned or disqualified if:
a) fished or had fishing gear that did not comply with the competition regulations,
b) does not have a fishing permit and a competition participant card
c) had fish caught outside the competition or took it from outsiders during the competition,
d) disobeyed the instruction of the competition referee, violated public order,
e) caught and took the fish.
6.15 The entry fee is not refunded to a disqualified competitor.
6.16 A disqualified competitor loses the right to all competition prizes.
6.17 All disputes are examined by the Panel of Judges.

8. Determination of winners, prizes
8.1 The competition is won by the crew with the largest total length of fish caught. In the case of equal length of fish, the winners are determined by drawing lots.
8.2 There will also be an award for the crew that caught the biggest fish.
8.3. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place crews will be awarded.
8.4 During the registration, each participant of the competition will receive a prize-surprise.
8.5 Prize fund over 2500 EUR.
9. Other provisions and information
9.1 All participants of the competition agree to the condition that photographs and video footage taken during the competition may be used in the media or for advertising purposes at the discretion of the organizers.
