Float/Bottom Competition "Eel Wobblers"

WELCOME TO ALL FLOAT AND BOTTOM (FEEDER) FISHING ENJOYERS.
The fishing club “ELECTRIC ANGEL” invites all interested fishing enthusiasts to a float/feeder competition, which will take place this year on July 19th at the VALIULIŲ pond, Šakiai district, near the town of Šakiai.
The eel fishing competition will be held according to the English competition principle, i.e. each fisherman will be able to fish with both float and bottom (feeder) fishing rods during the competition, but at the same time fish only with the fishing gear of his choice, one hook. During the competition, fishing gear can be changed depending on the situation. All interested fishermen (men, women, children over 15 years old accompanied by one parent or guardian) can participate in the competition, except for athletes who participate in the AB League feeder and float league championships.
The eel fishing competition will be held in both team (a team consists of two people), individual and Big fish catch classifications. If you don't have a team but want to try your hand at it, no problem, you can also participate individually and claim awards in the individual and Big fish classifications.

Advance registration is required as places are limited.
Participation fee -15€, team fee -30€.

Advance payment for the competition is required. Registration is confirmed only after payment.
Registration at the competition site will only be confirmed, but if someone doesn't have time to register in advance, they may still be able to get a spot in the competition. 
Just remember that the number of places is limited and pre-registration is required.

In case of non-attendance at the competition, the entry fee will not be refunded, except in cases where the participant notifies that he/she will not be able to participate for justified reasons (viral illness, death of a loved one) at least three days before the end of registration.

Eel Wobblers COMPETITION AGENDA:

July 19
7.00-7.30 arrival at the competition venue, registration of participants by name for the competition;
7.30-8.00 – drawing of lots, opening of the competition;
8:00 division into sectors, preparation for the competition;
9.00 inspection of lures, lures;
9.55 first signal – start of the taming;
10.00 second signal – start of the competition;
14.55 third signal – 5 minutes left until the end of the competition;
15.00 fourth signal – end of the competition, weighing of catches;
15:30 result calculation;
17:00 announcement of results, awards, closing of the competition.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION EEL WHEELS:

Eel sculling competitions are held in team (2 people) and individual competitions.
The duration of the competition (excluding preparation) is 5 hours.
During the competition, the participant catches only within the boundaries of the sector allocated to him, no outside help is allowed. During the competition, the participant may not leave his sector without the permission of the judges. Only one bait (float or feeder) is caught at a time using only one hook. The number of spare fishing rods is not limited.

A maximum of 20 liters of prepared bait is allowed in the competition.
The maximum amount of live bait allowed is 2.5 liters, of which 0.5 liters of earthworms (presented for inspection not cut, crushed, etc.). The maximum amount of mosquito larvae is 0.25 liters, the maximum amount of small mosquito larvae "joker" is 0.25 liters, 1 liter of fly larvae/pinks and plus other live baits except live fish.
Baits and lures must be of natural origin. Artificial baits (made of metal, rubber, paralon, etc.) imitating mosquito bites, fly larvae, worms, dead fish, artificial flies, etc. are prohibited.
Participants are prohibited from using echo sounders or walkie-talkies during the competition.
All fish of the size and type determined by the IFA (recreational fishing regulations) are eligible.
After weighing, all fish are released back into the water body.
The winner of the competition is determined by the weight of the fish caught in the individual classification and by the highest placing of the two team members in their sector in the team classification.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition will receive awards, including the Big Fish Award.

The participant of the competition takes care of and is responsible for his own safety!
Due to the changed geopolitical situation, bad weather conditions, the organizers reserve the right to terminate or temporarily suspend the competition.
