INFORMATION ABOUT COMPETITIONS

The Vilkiškii carp Cup 2024 competition is held in individual competition. Only 21 participants (3 zones with 7 fishermen each). The duration of the competition (excluding preparation) is 7 hours. Since fishing is done from one bank, there will be no restriction on the casting distance (the widest part of the pond is about 100 m) Sector I can be entered without a participant by the judge or the participant's registered trainer!!! The same trainer can be registered for several participants! The coach is registered before the start of the competition and must wear his bright yellow vest!. During the competition, the participant catches up to the limit of the sector allocated to him, no outside help is allowed. Only one rod is caught at a time, but only one hook is used in the system. During the competition, fish are kept in a sieve that is at least 3 years old (preferably having 2 sieves). One sieve can hold 25 kg. of fish, exceeding only 10 % is possible, everything else is unreadable. If necessary, intermediate weighings are possible, during the weighing the fishing rod is pulled out, the fisherman participates in the weighing. Fish weighing from 5 kg. weighed immediately after the judge is called. Only the Inline system can be used. The maximum length of the leash is 15 cm. All fish are eligible. After hooking the neighbor's line and pulling out the fish together with the neighbor's system, such a fish is not counted. A fish caught with a broken system (feeder) is not counted. If you leave the fishing rod for a long time, it must be taken out of the water. If the fish is caught before the signals (end of the competition), after notifying the neighbor or the judge, there is a 15-minute credit given by pulling out the fish. After weighing, all fish are released back into the water body. The winner of the competition is determined by the weight of the fish caught.
