When the summer season is over, a large number of homesteads become vacant. Spring - autumn, in my opinion, is one of the best periods when you can relatively inexpensively go to the lake for a weekend, warm up in the sauna and take a break from all your work and worries. That's what I did with my family on the first weekend of October.

I have kept lists of homesteads with me and when I started looking at them, I chose so that there would be something for children and adults to do and not to get cold at night. Since it was already approaching zero degrees at night, it was necessary to look for a heated homestead. Stumbled on behind the eyes Homestead on the shore of Lake Čičiri. Once upon a time, I fished for pike in this lake and I had a lot of baits, and here is also the period for pike (autumn). So, without thinking long, I called and made a reservation for the weekend. The house is cozy, small, perfect for a family or company of 4-5 people. The homestead owner is very friendly and helpful.

Since the primary goal was to rest, I was in no hurry with fishing. Upon arrival, we settled in quietly. I lit a barbecue. I cooked meat. And only when I was full, I went to the lake. I only took a twitching rod and wobblers with me. Of course, in autumn, it is more necessary to rely on deeper places and a jig, but I decided to fish like I did when I was a child. Without echo sounders and all other "extra bass". A boat, oars and grass line - a simple recipe for pike fishing. So, after launching the boat along the reeds and grasses, I started throwing the wobbler. The first hours are empty, I change the wobbler one by one. It's natural, it's brighter - it's empty. Then I remember that I have another box with bigger wobblers 130mm+.

I withdraw and put a copy of Balisong (bearking, aliexpress). And I keep throwing. After the 5th throw - that's it! Beautiful autumn pike. The size is almost legal, 47cm. A couple of photos and I let it grow further. After receiving some adrenaline, I continued to throw. An hour goes by like this. I look at the clock that it is already time to move towards the shore. When I find a deeper diving wobbler, I put it on and release the troll. Maybe someone will accidentally get hooked. There is still a lot to swim and you won't be able to swim quickly with oars - you just drag. But unfortunately I swam to the shore without additional taps.

This is what recreation at the lake turned out to be. And to fish and rest. What could be better than spending time in nature surrounded by autumn leaves?
