So I decided to flip a coin. Of course, in my heart I wanted to go against the current, but as always, the casting of the spell decided otherwise. And I decided differently and went against the flow! The first trout baits
The first ones trout appeared instantly. Nicer, slower places and the exit of the trout is already visible. But he taps the side of the wobbler and quickly runs back to the hiding place. There are at least a few more such performances. I'm starting to worry that going against the grain is a mistake. Trout are not yet as active as I expected. But there is always an option - to bypass the promising spots and feed the bait downstream. But it's still early. Here will be the plan B if nothing works at all.
How to catch trout upstream in winter
Seeing that the exits for the trout are there, I start thinking about how to feed them the bait here, so that they don't just tap to the side. I start experimenting little by little and find the casting that the trout want.
And the implementation is simple. Feed the bait with the current while picking up the line and performing rare twitching maneuvers. Everything seems very simple. Well, that's enough of that nonsense.
