After trying it bottom the joys of fishing and after watching several videos of feeder fishing, I decided that I wanted to dive into this one a fun way to fishfishing feeder. But before that you need to prepare accordingly. If there is a bottom fishing rod, it is suitable for feeder fishing, unless it is only in the river. My goal as a beginner is the lake. So I had to read a lot and browse the internet to find the right one for me. So let's move on to what kind of feeder I was looking for.

Feeder search

Because my goal fishing it will mainly be bream, so I chose a rod for catching this fish. I would divide my choice into several criteria. About which I will tell you.

The first criterion is weight. Since feeder fishing is very intensive, the fishing rod should be light. Casting every 5 minutes creates a lot of casts during fishing. So logically, if the kit is heavy on the fishing end, the casts will be inaccurate and you will no longer feel your hand. So I decided to limit the weight to 250g.
The second criterion is the weight of the cast. Since there will be no current in the lakes I will be fishing, there is no point in getting too heavy. I will also try to avoid long throws. But I think I will back the cast by choosing the right line.
The third criterion is length. Having chosen the weight of the fishing rod up to 250g, I automatically limited myself to its length. After browsing online stores for budget fishing rods, it became clear that the length will be 3.6 meters. I am completely satisfied with the length. Most feeder pros also suggest starting at 3.6.

Two feeders caught my eye:
Okuma Solitron Feeder H 3.60cm 50-100g
Salmo Elite Feeder 90 3.60cm 90g
I started comparing them. All properties are practically the same.
Weight: Okuma 217g Salmo – 225g
Purpose: Okuma up to 100g Salmo up to 90g
Length: 3.6 years
Price: Okuma ~70 Psalm ~75e

But salmo has advantages in production.
Salmo - graphite stem blank 24T, reel seat and rings SIC. Combined shaft handle made of cork material with EVA.
Okuma - The shaft is made from lightweight but reliable XTR42 IM6 module carbon fiber with lightweight titanium oxide rings. Comfortable handle made of cork and EVA combination, with ergonomic reel holder.

These are my observations when choosing a rod for a feeder. I look forward to your comments and suggestions. I'm sure there are definitely more feeders at the 80e sum that fit my criteria.
