How to make lightly salted salmon

- Mix salt and sugar in a bowl. Sugar can be added according to your taste or not at all.
- Pour a layer of the prepared mixture on the bottom of the dish, place the fish skin side down on top, cover completely with the remaining marinating mixture. Don't worry about too much salt. The fish will take as much as it needs.
- If desired, add freshly ground black pepper, cover the fish dish with cling film and put it in a cold place for 12 hours.
- After that, the fillet is washed under cold water, dried, greased with vegetable oil.
Salted salmon with herbs

- 1 kg of salmon
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- black pepper
- sprigs of fresh dill.
How to make salted salmon with herbs
- Salmon fillet must be carefully prepared before salting. We clean the skin from the scales, remove all the bones
- The fish is washed, dried, wrapped in foil and kept in the freezer for 2-3 days. This is necessary to protect against parasites
- Then we completely defrost the fish at room temperature and start salting. To do this, mix salt and sugar in a bowl, if you want, add black pepper (only freshly ground)
- Sprinkle the bottom of the dish with the marinade mixture and add a couple of dill sprigs
- Transfer the salmon to a container, sprinkle the rest of the marinating mixture on top, and spread it evenly under the surface of the fish.
