Daiwa 23 Airity is the successor of Daiwa 21 Luvias Airity, whose appearance in 21 years caused a real sensation in the fishing world. Daiwa Airity reel didn't go unnoticed as Daiwa engineers did a great job with their new pre-flagship. As a result, the reel received an extremely low weight of 145 grams with a 2000 body (the smallest reel size in the series). At the same time, this reel has inherited all the latest Daiwa technologies.

Daiwa 23 Airity​ reel innovations

Of course, it is a bit incorrect to call 23 Airity LT the successor of Daiwa 21 Luvias Airity, because only part of the name was transferred from 21 reel to the new series, and the "reel base" and its design were taken from Daiwa 22 Exist, the flagship model of Daiwa reel.

Compared to the old model, the weight of the rotor assembly has been reduced by approximately 16%. The diameter of the rotor air gap has been reduced from 3mm to 2.4mm, maintaining strength and reducing weight by around 33%.

The one-piece metal construction increases the strength of the reel, and the 2500S size reel weighs only 150g. The reel has an excellent balance that eliminates any imbalance when attached to the rod. The highlight is the Air Rotor design, which was introduced on last year's DAIWA 22 EXIST reel.

Daiwa 23 Airity models feature unique waterproof magnetic protection on the line guide gears and reels. It is completely resistant to salt water.
