Trout Prepared in the Oven

Trout prepared in the oven at home. This simplified recipe will help you prepare a dish quickly, tasty and hello. Be sure to try it! Trout "Sevans" is a national dish of Armenian cuisine, which can be prepared in less than an hour. The oven-baked trout recipe differs from others because of the ginger and small amounts of other spices used.

You will need:

  • Trout - 1 pc.
  • Lemon - 1 pc.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Grated ginger - 1/2 tbsp. spoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp. a spoon
  • Greens - according to taste
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Preparation:

  • Cut the onion into half rings.
  • Cut the tomatoes into cubes without the core.
  • Peel the garlic and finely chop it.
  • We wash, dry and chop the greens.
  • Grate the lemon peel.
  • Grind the ginger finely to fit a tablespoon.
  • We wash, gut and clean the trout. We stuff the fish with vegetables and herbs, cover it with soy sauce and lemon juice, and place it on a baking sheet smeared with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle the trout evenly with lemon peel, ginger and garlic.
  • We bake the fish for 20 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.
  • The dish is ready, we serve it to the table.

Trout in the oven with paprika

You will need:

  • 1-2 teaspoons of paprika
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder or ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of dried onion or garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • pepper - to taste
  • 230-250 g trout fillet (2 pcs.)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
  • 4 thin slices of lemon

Preparation:

Mix paprika with mustard, onion, salt and pepper. Brush the fish with oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Place the fish on a baking tray, place a couple of lemon slices on top of the trout. Bake for 8-10 minutes or a little longer at 200°C.

Trout prepared in the oven with orange and ginger

You will need:

  • 1 orange;
  • 1 piece of ginger (about 1 cm);
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 2-3 sprigs of rosemary;
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice;
  • ½ teaspoon of salt;
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 kg of trout fillet.

Preparation:

Peel the orange and chop it. Then separate a few thin slices of orange, squeeze the juice from the rest. Chop the ginger, garlic and rosemary. Mix with oil, orange and lime juice, zest, salt and pepper.

Pour the sauce over the fish and leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Then put the trout in the baking dish, put orange slices on each piece. Bake for about 15 minutes at 200°C.
